OUR STORY
Anderson Hills is a scenic family-owned farm and event space situated one mile east of historic downtown Leesville, Louisiana and just 7 miles from Fort Johnson. Historically a cattle ranch of gently rolling hills, this 100 acre property was purchased in 1990 by Jim Anderson Jr. Today his broodmare quarter horses and their foals roam those same hills and graze near great white oaks which grow abundantly on the land. In addition to raising horses, the Andersons grow crawfish, tomatoes, peas and hay. Meanwhile, Mother Nature grows dew berries all by herself. Then with each Fall comes pumpkin harvest time and the annual Anderson Hills Pumpkin Festival in October.
In order to share the wonder and beauty of this special place, Jim Anderson and his son James formed Andersons Hills. We offer to host any event ranging from rehearsal dinners and weddings to concerts and crawfish boils; for any gathering our mission is to provide all of our guests with an unforgettable experience.
“Come enjoy the evenings with us, as the fireflies light up and the sun dips below the pines!”
